Area Lead – Direct Hire, Company Benefits, Growing Company!

Available Shift:

2nd shift 4pm - 12am, Monday - Friday

Pay: $24.52/hr + Shift Differential

The Natural Team Leader will support Team Leaders in achieving the team’s mission and lead work teams in daily operations. Responsibilities include leading teams in productivity, safety, and quality, and team effectiveness. The role requires covering for the Dispatch/Team Leader during absences and working overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

1. Receiving/Put-Away: Safely unload shipments, move products to storage, stack, and store merchandise properly.
2. Quality: Ensure shipments are accurate and damage-free, report variances.
3. Order Picking: Prepare products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
4. Loading: Move products into rail cars or trailers efficiently.
5. Equipment: Operate forklifts and power equipment safely, perform minor maintenance, and keep equipment in order.
6. Inventory: Maintain records, assist with inventories, and ensure proper stock rotation.
7. Safety, Sanitation, Security: Keep work area clean, maintain security, promote safety, and comply with OSHA standards.
8. Maintenance: Assist with building, grounds, and equipment maintenance.
9. WMS Management: Ensure work orders are completed in the Warehouse Management System.
10. Leadership: Build good communication practices within the team.

Additional Duties

• Maintain data integrity and assist in system development and training.
• Perform paperwork audits and daily tasks like order reconciliation.
• Support production and inventory control as directed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred.
• Strong computer skills, especially MS Office; experience with SAP desirable.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple projects.
• Effective communicator at all organizational levels.
• Ability to create training materials and set priorities.
