Area Lead – Direct Hire, Company Benefits, Growing Company!

Available Shifts:

2nd shift 4pm - 12am, Monday - Friday

Pay: $24.52/hr + Shift Differential

The Natural Team Leader supports Team Leaders in achieving the team’s mission and leads work teams in daily operations. Responsibilities include leading teams in productivity, safety, and quality, and supporting team effectiveness. The Natural Team Leader also covers for Dispatch/Team Leaders during absences and may work overtime.

Responsibilities

Job Duties:

• Receiving/Put-Away: Safely unload inbound shipments, move products to storage, and efficiently store merchandise.
• Quality: Ensure shipments are accurate and damage-free; report variances.
• Order Picking: Prepare products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Loading: Move products into rail cars or trailers efficiently.
• Equipment: Operate forklifts and other power equipment safely; perform minor maintenance; maintain equipment cleanliness.
• Inventory: Maintain records, assist with inventories, and ensure proper stock rotation.
• Safety, Sanitation, Security: Keep work areas clean; promote safety; comply with OSHA standards.
• Maintenance: Assist with building, grounds, and equipment maintenance.
• Manage WMS systems to ensure work orders are completed.
• Lead and communicate effectively with team members.

Duties Also Include:

• Maintain data integrity in manufacturing or warehouse systems.
• Assist with system development, training, and coaching.
• Perform paperwork audits, order reconciliation, and file maintenance.
• Support production and inventory control as directed.

Qualifications

Required:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; Access preferred)
• Experience with SAP and ability to learn new software
• Attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and follow-up
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
• Positive professional attitude

Preferred:

• College or technical coursework
• Experience creating Excel formulas/macros

Certifications

• Power Industrial Truck Certified
• Lockout/Tagout Certified (Glad Hand Locks)
