Job summary

The Foreman will uphold safety standards, manage daily field activities, and coordinate with subcontractors and utility owners to keep projects on schedule. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in heavy civil construction, with at least 2 years as a Foreman, and strong verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in heavy construction (civil infrastructure, roads, bridges, cast-in-place concrete, underground utilities) with at least 2 years as a Foreman.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Capable of meeting deadlines and managing multiple crews.

Responsibilities

• Lead one or more crews on heavy civil projects within the Northern Virginia or Richmond region.
• Ensure safety compliance and quality standards on all tasks.
• Coordinate with subs, vendors, and utilities to plan daily activities and look-ahead schedules.
