George W. Pynn Masonry Inc. seeks a Foreman to lead field crews on commercial masonry projects in Portsmouth, NH. You’ll supervise daily work, read plans, ensure quality and safety, and coordinate with the office, clients, and suppliers.

Must have five years of masonry experience and OSHA 30 certification. The role requires organizing crews, enforcing safety rules, and maintaining project timelines. Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work outdoors, and communicate effectively

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in commercial masonry.
• OSHA 30 – Construction certification.
• Extensive knowledge of bricklaying, stonework, and blockwork techniques.
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Ability to follow instructions and possess a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Thorough understanding of math.
• Ability to operate an iPad.

Responsibilities

• Supervise crews of employees and prioritize daily work assignments.
• Monitor crew activities to ensure work meets quality standards.
• Read and interpret plans, material lists, and project guidelines while adhering to required timelines.
• Conduct Monday morning toolbox talks.
• Perform all standard and advanced installation and construction duties, including project layout and required paperwork.
• Organize, supervise, lead, and train employees to complete projects within established guidelines and schedules.
• Enforce all company safety policies and procedures.
• Enforce all client-required safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety requirements, including documentation.
