Qualifications

• OSHA-10 Construction certification required.
• Valid and unexpired driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Ability to follow instructions with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute masonry units (brick, stone, and block).
• Directs traffic near, in, or around work zones.
• Mix, prepare, and distribute adhesives such as mortar and tools.
• Set up and take down equipment such as scaffolding, mixers, tools, and machinery.
• Motions equipment operator to assist with alignment, movement, or adjustment of machinery.
• Adhere to all safety standards, policies, and procedures.
• Report potential safety hazards to site foreman.
• Operate a wide variety of power tools including heavy machinery.
• Clean and organize the job site at day end and as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Position Summary

Mason tenders are responsible for completing a wide range of tasks that support skilled trade position such as Foreman, Masons, and Operators. The laborer position is critical to ensuring project operations proceed smoothly and efficiently in the field by ensuring equipment is setup appropriately, supplies are transported and distributed on site, and maintaining a clean job site. Mason tenders are responsible for adhering to state, federal, and company safety standards and reporting any potential safety hazards or violations.

Job Location; 53 Green St Portsmouth NH

Rate; $22-$26/hr

Position Description

• Prepare and distribute masonry units (brick, stone, and block).

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift, move (push/pull), and carry up to 50 pounds alone.
• Must be able to lift, move (push/pull), and carry up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas.
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to stand and walk up to eight hours per day and climb multiple sets of stairs while carrying materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work at night when needed.
