Job summary

Klaviyo is seeking a Lead Product Data Scientist, Forecasting to own and advance our forecasting capabilities. You will blend deep statistical expertise with strong business judgment to influence product and strategic decisions, building scalable forecasting systems and mentoring other data scientists in a highly collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data science or related field with forecasting in production.
• Deep expertise in time series forecasting and model evaluation.
• Proficient in SQL and Python (or R); experience with dbt.

Responsibilities

• Own revenue forecasting end to end from framing and data prep through model development, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Build forecasting models across multiple horizons and levels of granularity using diverse methods.
• Establish forecasting standards, governance, and evaluation practices.
• Lead the technical direction of forecasting and mentor other data scientists.
• Translate business questions into actionable analytical plans and recommendations.
• Partner with Product, Finance, Engineering, and go-to-market teams to enable self-service analytics.
• Develop scalable root-cause analysis frameworks and dashboards for performance investigations.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to ensure clean, trustworthy data for forecasting.
