Job summary

Catholic Health is seeking a part-time Food Service Associate at Sisters of Charity Hospital. This role involves directing food preparation, ensuring safety practices, and maintaining a positive service culture.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in food service and strong customer service skills. The position offers flexible shifts with weekend and holiday rotations.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years previous experience in Food Service required.
• Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• Customer Service experience strongly desired.
• Cash register experience strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Directs department activities to include food preparation, production, assembly, service and distribution.
• Ensures adherence to standardized recipes, menus and safe handling practices.
• Operates cash registers and other equipment.

Work Schedule: Days and Evenings with Weekend and Holiday Rotation

Hours: Variable shifts between 6A-8P

Summary

Promotes and maintains a positive service culture. Directs department activities to include food preparation, production, assembly, service and distribution for patients/residents, staff and visitors. Ensures adherence to standardized recipes, menus and safe handling practices. Organizes cleaning and sanitizing of work areas, equipment, and small wares. Operates cash registers and other equipment to include pizza ovens and grill. Provides input to Production Manager and Food Supervisor regarding shift operations. Adheres to the Catholic Health Mission, Core Values and Standards of Behavior.

Education

• High School Diploma

Experience

• Two (2) years previous experience in Food Service required
