Job summary

Qualifications

• Serve Safe Certification is required.
• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Food service experience is preferred.
• Frequent lifting of hot food items is required.
• Work in a kitchen with heat, steam, noise and chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Lead food prep and assist in preparation of items for service.
• Set up and break down stations as directed by manager.
• Cook and prepare foods according to recipes and directions.
• Ensure accurate portions when preparing and serving items.
• Maintain daily temperature logs and quality samples.
• Take samples of all food items prior to serving.
• Report any quality issues to management and pull items if needed.
• Complete opening and closing station checklists and ensure clean work area.
• Greet customers and respond to feedback with a positive attitude.
• Maintain clean, sanitized serving areas and equipment.
• Assist with safety observations and report hazards to management.
• Cross-train in other areas as needed; support concessions and catering.
