Job summary

Aramark is hiring a Food Service Worker to assist with food preparation, portioning, and serving to customers. You will learn on the job with guidance from management, build connections with the people we serve, and support daily operations across stations.

The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to portion control, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards. You may work at concessions, catering, and special events as directed by your manager.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Food service experience preferred.
• Requires frequent lifting/transporting hot food items.
• Ability to work inside kitchen area with heated equipment, steam, loud noise, chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of and assist in preparation of food items for the day and dating products.
• Coordinate and assist in setting up and breaking down stations designated by the manager.
• Cook and prepare foods according to recipes and directions.
• Use accurate portions when preparing and serving items on the line.
• Maintain daily temperature logs.
• Take samples of all food items on the line prior to serving customers.
• Alert management to items that do not meet quality expectations.
• Complete opening and closing station checklists.
• Greet customers and assist with service feedback.
• Keep work stations clean and sanitized; manage waste disposal.
• Move supplies between storage and work areas; assist with safety observations.
• Cross-train and handle concessions, catering, and events as needed.
• Follow supervisor requests and advise line staff to ensure timely service.
