Job summary

ARAMARK is seeking a full-time Food Service Supervisor to lead a team within our Food Services operation. You will assist a manager, oversee staff, and collaborate with teammates to maintain quality and safety standards while ensuring service meets daily catering needs.

The role requires strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and effective communication across shifts. Night and weekend catering events may be required as part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions.
• Must complete a sanitation course either before or during first year.
• Must be knowledgeable in operating an efficient cost-effective program.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
• Maintain emotional control under stress.
• Ability to resolve interpersonal situations.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain work schedules and may prepare production packets (production sheets and recipes).
• Direct daily activities.
• Maintain food production to ensure safety and quality according to policies and department requirements.
• Store food items safely and organize storage areas.
• Serve items per menu specifications following Aramark policies and procedures.
• Maintain health and safety compliance in the department.
• Monitor inventory on a weekly basis.
• May prepare orders to ensure accurate production for location.
• Supervise and evaluate employees; counsel and promote growth.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
• Train/mentor other food service workers.
• Maintain equipment maintenance logs and ensure logs are completed with corrective actions.
• Recommend equipment replacements as needed.
