Job summary

Aramark is looking for a Food Service Supervisor to lead a busy team and coordinate daily operations. You will supervise staff, ensure food safety and quality, and manage scheduling, inventory, and onboarding.

The role includes occasional night and weekend catering events and interactions with other departments. The successful candidate will mentor teammates, uphold Aramark policies, and help deliver excellent guest experiences across locations.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions.
• Must complete a sanitation course either before or during first year.
• Must be knowledgeable in operating an efficient cost-effective program.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
• Maintain emotional control under stress.
• Ability to resolve interpersonal situations.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain work schedules and production packets.
• Direct daily activities.
• Ensure food safety and quality per policies.
• Store food items safely and organized.
• Maintain serving schedules and follow menu specs.
• Maintain a sanitary department per health codes.
• Keep weekly inventory records.
• May prepare orders to ensure accurate production.
• Supervise and evaluate employees; promote growth.
• Train and mentor food service workers.
• Maintain maintenance logs on equipment.
• Complete food safety/temperature logs with corrective actions.
• Perform preventative maintenance checklists.
• Recommend equipment replacements as needed.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Fill in for absent employees as necessary.
• Be aware of daily catering events and ensure on-time delivery.
• Attend food service meetings.
• Maintain communication with staff.
• May perform cashier duties.
• Promote good public relations.
