Job summary

KMJE Investments Ltd O/A Tim Hortons in Kitimat, BC, is hiring a Food Service Supervisor for a permanent full-time role (35 hrs/week). Start date as soon as possible.

You will train staff, supervise food preparation and service, manage stock, and ensure quality standards. Requires English, secondary school, 1 year+ experience.

Salary is $21.80 per hour, with benefits to be discussed. This position is based at 125 City Centre, Kitimat.

Qualifications

• Secondary school education is required.
• 1 year or more experience in food service or supervision preferred.
• English language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Establish methods to meet work schedules.
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures.
• Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food.
• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.
• Ensure that all product and packaging is properly merchandised and stocked.
• Provides orientation and monitors new team members.
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
• May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets.
