Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Food Service Worker in Rhode Island. You will assist with food prep, portioning meals, and serving customers under manager guidance. We're looking for organized, accountable team players with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities include leading food prep, setting up stations, cooking per recipes, portioning accurately, and maintaining logs and cleanliness. On-site role with potential cross-training for events.

Qualifications

• Customer service and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Leadership and supervisory abilities are required.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Serve Safe Certification is preferred.
• Attention to following detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Experience in food service is preferred.
• Ability to lift and transport items; physical stamina needed.
• Work in kitchen areas with heat, steam, noise, and chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Lead on all aspects of food item preparation for the day.
• Set up and break down stations as directed by the manager.
• Cook and prepare foods according to recipes.
• Ensure accurate portioning and food safety on the line.
• Maintain daily temperature logs and sanitize work areas.
• Serve customers and handle complaints with a positive attitude.
• Assist with opening/closing station checklists and cleaning.
• Cross-train across concessions, catering, and events as needed.
• Support sanitation and safety hazards reporting.
