Job Summary:

The Lead Food Runner / To-Go Food Coordinator is responsible for ensuring smooth food delivery to guests on property, while also managing the to-go order program during evening and weekend service. This position requires leadership, attention to detail, and strong coordination with both kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receive food orders from kitchen staff and servers and verify accuracy before delivery.
• Safely transport food trays from the kitchen to designated tables in a prompt and efficient manner.
• Maintain food quality and presentation during transportation using proper handling techniques.
• Assist servers in clearing used dishes and resetting tables between courses.
• Prepare tables with appropriate utensils, napkins, and condiments prior to guest arrival.
• Take lead responsibility for managing all to-go orders throughout the shift.
• Accurately assemble and package all to-go food orders in a clean, organized, and timely manner.
• Coordinate closely with the chef team to monitor ticket flow and anticipate needs for high-volume or complex to-go orders.
• Communicate clearly with the front desk administrator to ensure all orders are tracked, labeled, and picked up without confusion.
• Maintain an orderly to-go station and ensure proper labeling, packaging, and temperature control.
• Take ownership of order accuracy and presentation; check that all bags are complete and reflect the Club’s standards.
• Train, support, and oversee other food runners in following proper to-go procedures.
• Stay informed of all club policies, upcoming events, and specials to better support members and guests.

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong communication skills with both culinary and service teams.
• Clear attention to detail and consistency when handling guest orders.
• Reliable, proactive, and able to lead by example.
• A positive attitude and commitment to guest satisfaction.

Education and Experience:

• Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting required.
• Experience in takeout operations or order coordination strongly preferred.
• Experience training or leading peers is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry food trays and to-go order bags.
• Able to stand and walk for long periods.
• Frequent movement, including reaching and bending.
