Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience must be in supervisory and operational responsibility for food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of governmental regulations (OSHA, FDA, HAACP) for food processing facilities.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business information and regulations.
• Proficiency in preparing reports and presenting information to managers and stakeholders.

• Directs the operation of the facility to meet quality, food safety and customer requirements.
• Develops plans for efficient use of materials, machines and employees to increase productivity.
• Develops and implements reporting methods to evaluate attainment of objectives.
• Reviews production costs and product quality to maintain profitable operation.
• Develops training programs to upgrade employee skills and cross-train for career development.
• Provides direction and leadership to production supervisors.
• Monitors plant activities to meet production schedules and ensure quality.
• Evaluates equipment and assists in capital budget planning.
