Qualifications

• Education: 4 Year college degree in Business Administration or related.
• Years of Experience: 3-5 years related experience and or training in food or other manufacturing environment.
• Experience must be in supervisory and operational responsibility for food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA/FDA/HAACP regulations and GMPs.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials and regulations.
• Ability to write reports and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Directs the operation of the facility to meet quality, food safety, and customer requirements.
• Develops and implements plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and employees to increase productivity.
• Reviews production costs and product quality to maintain profitable operation.
• Develops training programs to upgrade employee skills and cross-train for career development.
• Provide direction and leadership to production supervisors.
• Monitor plant activities to meet production schedules and ensure product quality.
