Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking a skilled Electrical/Maintenance Technician to maintain and enhance electrical and control systems in our food manufacturing operations in New Jersey.

You will document systems, troubleshoot issues, and support mechanical staff across shifts. Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance on batching and process controls, wiring, networks, drives, pneumatics, hydraulics, and HVAC, while adhering to GMP, safety standards, and company procedures.

Qualifications

• AS/AAS degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering preferred or equivalent experience.
• Experience with machine and electrical control systems installation.
• Ability to read electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and control system design documentation.
• Familiarity with Rockwell, Siemens, and Mitsubishi software; preventive maintenance software preferred.
• Proficient in completing maintenance forms and recording work performed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current documentation for all electrical and control systems.
• Assist Mechanics and Electro-Mechanics in diagnosing and resolving electrical or control-related issues.
• Provide training and coordinate the activities of Electro-Mechanics across all shifts as needed.
• Occasionally work offsite to support equipment troubleshooting and repairs.
• Conform to GMP, safety standards, quality control measures, and company procedures.
