Job summary

A premier hospitality venue in Nashville is seeking a Lead Food & Beverage Attendant to ensure smooth operations and high service standards. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of food & beverage experience, preferably in a hotel, and demonstrate excellent leadership and guest service skills. Key responsibilities include managing daily shifts, coaching team members, and maintaining sanitation standards. The position requires a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of food & beverage experience, preferably in a hotel.
• Preferred experience in lead or shift-lead roles.
• Food safety knowledge, ServSafe preferred.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

We're looking for a Lead Food & Beverage Attendant to help run a smooth, guest-focused operation by leading the shift, supporting the team, and keeping service moving at a high standard. This is a hands-on role-ideal for someone who can jump in, coach others, and keep the department organized and ready for business.

What You'll Do

• Lead daily shift execution in food & beverage outlets (breakfast, restaurant, bar, banquets-based on property needs)

• Set the pace: opening/closing duties, service setup, sidework, cleanliness, and restocking

• Support and coach team members on service standards, guest interaction, and procedures

• Assist with training new hires and reinforcing consistency across the team

• Handle guest concerns quickly and professionally; escalate when needed

• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards (cleaning schedules, temp logs, safe food handling)

• Ensure supplies are stocked and organized; communicate low inventory needs to leadership

• Support upselling and promote specials to help drive revenue

• Follow brand standards and hotel policies at all times

What We're Looking For

• 1+ year(s) food & beverage experience (hotel experience a plus)

• Prior lead, trainer, or shift-lead responsibilities preferred

• Strong guest service mindset with calm problem-solving under pressure

• Reliable attendance and punctuality-this role sets the tone for the team

• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 lbs
