Job summary

MasterCorp, Inc. in South Euclid, OH is seeking a Lead Floor Tech for Commercial Services. You will guide Floor Technicians to meet quality and timeliness standards in floor and carpet care at commercial properties.

Shift: Monday–Friday with some weekends, 6pm–2:30am. Starting at $20 per hour; immediate hire – full- and part-time opportunities, paid training, and a benefits package including medical, vision, dental and PTO.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of floor care experience.
• Experience leading janitorial or floor care staff preferred.
• Strong work ethic and passion for cleanliness.
• Ability to work irregular hours and travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Train and supervise Floor Technicians.
• Ensure timesheets are completed per site.
• Dust mop and sweep hard floors; lay and strip wax.

Position Overview:

The Floor Technician Lead works with and guides the Floor Technicians in meeting quality and timeliness standards in the floor/carpet care of commercial properties. The Floor Technician Lead also manages special floor/carpet care projects ensuring that projects are completed timely while meeting MasterCorp Commercial Services quality standards.

Essential Functions:

• Lay wax
• Strip wax
• Shampooing carpet

• Report damaged, dirty or stained carpets
• Ensure a safe working environment at each site and office
• Utilize supplies and equipment efficiently and effectively
• Utilize time wisely and efficiently

Experience and Education Requirements

• Minimum of two (2) years of successful experience in floor care
• Experience effectively leading janitorial or floor care associates preferred
• A passion for cleanliness
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to learn and change behavior
• Work irregular hours
• Overnight travel – Rarely; Daily travel – Frequently between job sites

Physical Requirements:

This position frequently requires standing, walking, pushing, pulling, moving, lifting (up to 25 lbs), bending, reaching, occasional ascending/descending, and repetitive motions. Employee must be able to perform the
