Job summary

MasterCorp, Inc. in Ohio seeks a Floor Technician Lead to supervise Floor Technicians and ensure high-quality floor and carpet care across commercial properties.

You will manage special projects, train staff, and ensure timeliness while maintaining MasterCorp Commercial Services quality standards. Overnight travel between sites is required, with a weekday shift schedule and some weekend hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of successful experience in floor care.
• Experience effectively leading janitorial or floor care associates preferred.
• A passion for cleanliness.
• Strong work ethic.
• Ability to learn and change behavior.
• Work irregular hours; overnight travel between job sites.

Responsibilities

• Train and supervise Floor Technicians.
• Maintain a high standard of excellence on all sites.
• Manage timesheets by job site.
• Dust mop/sweep hard surface floors and buff, scrub, lay and strip wax.
• Carpet extraction and shampooing as needed.
• Report maintenance issues and damaged carpets.
• Ensure a safe working environment at each site.

Position Overview:

The Floor Technician Lead works with and guides the Floor Technicians in meeting quality and timeliness standards in the floor/carpet care of commercial properties. The Floor Technician Lead also manages special floor/carpet care projects ensuring that projects are completed timely while meeting MasterCorp Commercial Services quality standards.

Essential Functions:

• Dust mop/sweep hard surface floors
• Buff floors
• Scrub floors
• Lay wax
• Strip wax

• Reports unit maintenance issues as per company procedure
• Report damaged, dirty or stained carpets
• Ensure a safe working environment at each site and office
• Utilize supplies and equipment efficiently and effectively
• Utilize time wisely and efficiently

Experience and Education Requirements

Physical Requirements:
