Job summary

MasterCorp, Inc. seeks a Floor Technician Lead to guide the Floor Technicians in floor/carpet care for commercial properties. You will ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining MasterCorp Commercial Services quality standards.

Requirements include at least two years in floor care and leadership experience; a passion for cleanliness; ability to work irregular hours; and travel between job sites. Benefits include medical, vision, dental, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Experience leading janitorial or floor care teams preferred.
• Willingness to work irregular hours and travel between sites regularly.
• Strong work ethic and passion for cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Train and supervise Floor Technicians.

• Complete timesheets per site.
• Buff floors; scrub and lay/strip wax.
• Carpet extraction and shampooing.
• Report maintenance issues and unsafe conditions.
• Ensure a safe working environment at each site.

Position Overview:

The Floor Technician Lead works with and guides the Floor Technicians in meeting quality and timeliness standards in the floor/carpet care of commercial properties. The Floor Technician Lead also manages special floor/carpet care projects ensuring that projects are completed timely while meeting MasterCorp Commercial Services quality standards.

Essential Functions:

• Train and supervise Floor Technicians
• Make sure timesheets are completed per job site
• Dust mop/sweep hard surface floors
• Buff floors
• Scrub floors
• Lay wax
• Strip wax
• Carpet extraction
• Shampooing carpet
• Reports unit maintenance issues as per company procedure
• Report damaged, dirty or stained carpets
• Ensure a safe working environment at each site and office
• Utilize supplies and equipment efficiently and effectively
• Utilize time wisely and efficiently

Experience and Education Requirements

• Minimum of two (2) years of successful experience in floor care
• Experience effectively leading janitorial or floor care associates preferred
• A passion for cleanliness
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to learn and change behavior
• Work irregular hours
• Overnight travel – Rarely; Daily travel – Frequently between job sites

Physical Requirements:

This position frequently requires standing, walking, pushing, pulling, moving, lifting (up to 25 lbs), bending, reaching, occasional ascending/descending, and repetitive motions. Employee must be able to perform the
