Job summary

MasterCorp, Inc. is seeking a Floor Tech to maintain high standards of floor and carpet care at commercial properties. You will follow the company mission and ensure efficient, quality service while maintaining safety and productivity.

The role offers a 2:30pm–10:30pm shift, immediate full-time or part-time opportunities, paid training, and a benefits package including medical, vision, dental, and PTO. Prior floor care experience is a plus, strong work ethic a must.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; floor tech experience a plus.
• Strong work ethic and ability to learn and adapt.
• Willing to work irregular hours; travel rarely.
• Floor technician experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dust mop/sweep and buff floors.
• Scrub and wax floors; carpet extraction and shampooing.
• Report maintenance issues and damaged carpets.
• Ensure safe working environment and efficient use of supplies.
• Complete timesheets per site.

Position Overview

Responsible for consistently meeting quality and timeliness standards in the floor/carpet care of commercial properties. A Floor Tech must ensure he / she follows company mission statement and values. The purpose of this position is to achieve a standard of floor/carpet care in the most efficient way to serve customers/tenants with great quality.

Essential Functions

• Maintain a high standard of excellence.
• Makes sure timesheets are completed per job site.
• Dust mop/sweep hard surface floors.
• Buff floors.
• Scrub floors.
• Lay wax.
• Strip wax.
• Carpet extraction.
• Shampooing carpet.
• Report unit maintenance issues as per company procedure.
• Report damaged, dirty or stained carpets.
• Ensure a safe working environment at each site and office.
• Utilize supplies and equipment efficiently and effectively.
• Utilize time wisely and efficiently.

Experience and Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Floor technician experience a plus.
• Strong work ethic.
• Ability to learn and change behavior.
• Work irregular hours.
• Travel – rarely
• The salary range provided for this position is$7.75 - $13.88, and will be based on a variance of considerations such as skills, qualifications and experience.

Physical Requirements

This position frequently requires standing, walking, pushing, pulling, moving, lifting (up to 25 lbs), bending, reaching, occasional ascending/descending, and repetitive motions. Employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, reasonable accommodations may be made to enable employees with disabilities to perform the essential functions of their job.
