Job summary

MasterCorp, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Floorcare Lead for Commercial Services to guide Floor Technicians in carpet and hard floor care across commercial properties and manage special projects to meet MasterCorp quality standards. Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00pm - 2:00am.

Starting at $21.50 per hour with paid training. Immediate hire – full-time and part-time positions available. Benefits include Medical, Vision, Dental, and Paid Time Off.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of successful experience in floor care.
• Experience leading janitorial or floor care associates preferred.
• A passion for cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Train and supervise Floor Technicians
• Maintain a high standard of excellence
• Make sure timesheets are completed per job site
• Dust mop/sweep hard surface floors
• Lay wax
• Strip wax
• Shampooing carpet
• Reports unit maintenance issues as per company procedure
• Report damaged, dirty or stained carpets
• Ensure a safe working environment at each site and office
• Utilize supplies and equipment efficiently and effectively
• Utilize time wisely and efficiently

Position Overview:

The Floor Technician Lead works with and guides the Floor Technicians in meeting quality and timeliness standards in the floor/carpet care of commercial properties. The Floor Technician Lead also manages special floor/carpet care projects ensuring that projects are completed timely while meeting MasterCorp Commercial Services quality standards.

Experience and Education Requirements

• Minimum of two (2) years of successful experience in floor care
• Experience effectively leading janitorial or floor care associates preferred

• Work irregular hours
• Overnight travel – Rarely; Daily travel – Frequently between job sites
