Job summary

AIRO Group in Phoenix seeks a Manager of Flight Operations / Flight Test Pilot to lead the flight test program and actively fly test aircraft to validate new avionics while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

You will plan test missions, develop FAA-compliant flight test plans, generate reports, and collaborate with engineering and certification teams to deliver high-value avionics solutions for pilots and operators.

Qualifications

• Active CPL with instrument and multi-engine ratings and FAA medical certificate.
• 1,000+ total flight hours in General Aviation.
• Experience operating advanced avionics systems and working with FAA processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as AIRO Group’s primary flight test pilot for avionics validation.
• Plan and conduct flight test missions and develop FAA-compliant test plans.
• Generate flight test reports and provide pilot feedback to engineers.
