The AIRO Group in Phoenix is seeking a Manager of Flight Operations / Flight Test Pilot to actively fly flight test aircraft, develop test plans, and provide pilot feedback to engineers. You will lead Aspen’s flight operations program, ensuring tests meet regulatory and operational requirements and deliver real-world value for pilots and operators.

Qualifications

• Active CPL with Instrument Rating and Multi-Engine Rating.
• Current FAA medical certificate.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field required.
• 1000+ total flight hours in General Aviation Aircraft.
• Experience operating advanced avionics systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary flight test pilot, flying company aircraft to evaluate avionics systems.
• Plan and execute FAA-compliant flight test missions and reports.
• Oversee maintenance, airworthiness, and safety of flight test aircraft.
• Collaborate with engineering and certification teams, FAA for flight testing.
