Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Test Pilot in Ontario, CA to support the planning and execution of manned flight test missions. You will lead mission planning, coordinate with FAA airspace and military ranges, and ensure test aircraft readiness for deployments.

Requirements include a university degree plus 10+ years of flight test, Boeing 737 experience, and FAA/ATP qualifications. Travel up to 20% is expected for classified RTX programs.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent with 10+ years of relevant flight test experience.
• 737 flight test experience; large multi-engine aircraft preferred.
• Flight test experience within the last 10 years.
• Commercial Pilot Certificate with FAA First Class medical and ATP; 1,500 hours total, 500 PIC.
• 1,000 hours of turbine experience; multi-engine turbine preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute flight test missions, coordinating with ranges and FAA airspace.
• Lead mission planning briefings and contribute to test reporting.
• Coordinate aircraft maintenance and liaise with support teams.
• Maintain currency for test aircraft and ensure readiness for deployments.
• Travel up to 20% to CONUS/OCONUS test ranges.
