Job summary

Raytheon Technologies seeks a Test Pilot for the Flight Test Operations team in Ontario, California, to support the B737-800 Next Generation Testbed and related platforms. This onsite role requires extensive flight test planning, coordination with engineering and maintenance, and readiness for classified testing.

The ideal candidate has Boeing 737 experience, 1,500 flight hours with PIC, and a current Commercial Pilot Certificate with FAA First Class medical and ATP.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience required.
• 1,500 hours pilot time with at least 500 hours PIC.
• Commercial Pilot Certificate with FAA First Class medical and ATP.
• Boeing 737 experience and flight test background highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate flight test missions involving military ranges and FAA airspace
• Conduct internal flight test readiness evaluations and coordinate customer airworthiness audits
• Lead mission planning, coordination briefings, and contribute to test reporting
• Coordinate aircraft maintenance activities and liaison with subcontracted support team
• Qualify and maintain currency for Raytheon FTO test aircraft
