Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Patuxent River, MD, is seeking a Flight Test Engineer/Principal Flight Test Engineer for Unmanned Air Vehicles to join a team of qualified individuals.

You will participate in flight test planning and execution, coordinate resources, and interface with customers to help develop test plans while supporting test activities. A Top Secret clearance is required and travel may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline with 2 years of related professional/military experience, or a Master’s degree with 0 years, or a Ph.D. with 1 year.

Responsabilités

• Participate in all facets of flight test planning and execution including requirements development, test planning, event preparation, and test coordination.
• Plan the event (flight profiles, test cards), briefings, lead the event, and complete post-event reporting (flash reports).
• Coordinate resources (aircrew, airspace) with the scheduling team to support the test event; perform chase vehicle duties.
