Siemens Energy in Charlotte, NC seeks an experienced leader to own the operating and protection strategy for the 9000HL fleet. You will drive safe, reliable, best-in-class performance and partner across turbine, combustion, and auxiliary systems to deliver innovative operating solutions.

With 5–10+ years in gas turbine operation, you will lead prototype validation, analyze fleet data, and collaborate with global teams to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience in gas turbine development.
• 5–10+ years’ expertise in gas turbine operation.
• Demonstrated protection philosophy by safeguarding people, assets, information, and operations through risk management, prevention, compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Solid gas turbine auxiliary systems knowledge and understanding of interfaces, operation, troubleshooting, and protection.
• Proven global leader with ability to align cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
• Agile / LEAN mindset focused on continuous improvement, speed, and efficiency.

What You Bring

• Engineering degree (or equivalent experience in gas turbine development)
• 5-10+ years’ expertise in gas turbine operation. More years of experience can be considered at a higher level.
• Demonstrated protection philosophy by proactively safeguarding people, assets, information, and operations through risk management, prevention, compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Solid gas turbine auxiliary systems (fuel gas, fuel oil, lube oil, hydraulics, cooling, and related systems), with a comprehensive understanding of system interfaces, end-to-end operation, troubleshooting, and protection philosophies.
• Proven global leader and strategic thinker with a bias for action, adept at influencing stakeholders at all levels, aligning cross-functional teams, challenging priorities, and delivering impactful results on time and within budget.
• Agile / LEAN mindset focused on continuous improvement, speed, and efficiency
