Job summary

Cogent Analytics in Pennsylvania seeks a Lead Fleet Mechanic to maintain our fleet and support rapid response and restoration services for utility projects. You will oversee preventative maintenance, coordinate with outside vendors, and keep thorough service records to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities include routine vehicle inspections, brake checks, tire maintenance, safety compliance, and emergency readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience in fleet maintenance and preventative maintenance routines.
• Ability to identify safety concerns during inspections.
• Experience coordinating with mechanics and vendors for repairs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure fleet vehicles and equipment are properly maintained and available for emergency responses.
• Perform routine maintenance including oil/filter changes, tire inspection/replacements, fluid checks, battery maintenance, and light replacements.
• Conduct brake inspections and coordinate repairs as needed.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and repair documentation for all fleet assets.
• Assist in developing preventive maintenance schedules to extend asset lifespan.
• Coordinate with mechanics and external vendors for major repairs.
• Support emergency response by ensuring readiness of fleet assets.
