Job summary
Republic Services is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to lead a technician team in a high-volume shop. You will oversee preventive maintenance and repairs for trucks, containers, and heavy equipment, ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- ASE Master Certified and Diesel Engine certifications preferred.
- Experience supervising a technician teams in heavy equipment maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Provide direction to technicians to ensure safe, efficient maintenance work.
- Plan and schedule repair activities to meet deadlines.
- Monitor performance and implement improvements for safety and productivity.
- Conduct daily shop huddles and coaching, and participate in hiring decisions.
- Inspect outside repairs for compliance with safety standards.
- Oversee inventory control and budgeted expenses.
- Maintain advanced knowledge of engine and electrical systems for repairs.
