Job summary

Republic Services seeks a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to lead a maintenance shop, supervising technicians responsible for preventive maintenance and repairs of heavy equipment including trucks, containers, and support machinery. Ensure work aligns with safety and regulatory standards and schedules are kept to minimize downtime.

You will oversee diagnostics, coaching, training, and performance reviews; manage inventory and budget; and coordinate with management on improvements and safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• ASE Certification in automotive service and diesel systems.
• Technical certifications listed (Drive, Brake, Suspension/Steering, Electrical, HVAC, Diesel).
• ASE Master Certified preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to lead technicians to ensure safe, efficient repairs.
• Monitor performance and adjust activities to improve efficiency.
• Report performance and propose process changes.
