Job summary

Transdev is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in California to oversee mechanics and service workers, schedule repairs, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across light to heavy equipment. The role requires coordinating outside contract labor and monitoring performance while maintaining a safe, efficient work environment.

You will participate in interview panels, work with HR on procedures, and ensure timely completion of maintenance and preventative tasks in a dynamic transit setting.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent, such as GED, required.
• Must possess a valid CA CDL with a good driving record.
• Must be eligible for and able to obtain a Commercial Drivers License with a Passenger endorsement within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervises mechanics and service workers.
• Assigns work tasks and evaluates the completion of those tasks.
• Investigates, provides information, makes and administers decisions concerning employee discipline.
• Schedules shop staff time off and monitors absences/PTO usage.
