SA Metal Group (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Fitters Manager in the United States New Hampshire region to lead and manage the Fitters team, ensuring efficient, safe and reliable operation of all production machinery. The role covers preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance, with KPI tracking and CMMS usage.

The successful candidate will oversee scheduling, timekeeping, overtime distribution, and staff development while collaborating with Engineering Management and Directors."

Qualificações

• Must have Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Red Seal Mechanical Fitter qualification or higher.
• Minimum 10 years in a similar/heavy industry role.
• At least 5 years of proven management experience.
• Physically fit and able to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience with OHSA compliance and safety regulations.
• Experience with computer-based maintenance systems.
• Strong communication skills on all levels.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage the Fitters team to ensure the plant operates safely and efficiently.
• Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs for all machinery.
• Monitor team performance, timekeeping, and productivity; report to Engineering management.
• Coordinate with suppliers for parts, quotes and repairs.
• Plan department needs with Engineering Manager and Directors and execute plans.
