Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC is seeking a lead foreman to oversee 2–3 person crews on customer sites. You will inspect, test, and maintain fire sprinkler systems, identify deficiencies, and prepare inspection reports. Strong knowledge of NFPA 13/25 and years of hands-on sprinkler experience are required.

You will lead field teams, coach apprentices, and ensure safety policies are followed while delivering high-quality service across commercial and residential projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with fire sprinkler systems preferred.
• Advanced working knowledge of NFPA 13 and NFPA 25.
• Experience with commercial and residential systems.]
• Skilled operation of sprinkler trade equipment including impact wrenches, band saws, measuring devices, fittings take-outs, lifting devices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine preventative maintenance on sprinkler fire systems.
• Service and inspections of wet, dry and pre-action systems.
• Inspect, maintain, repair, or replace sprinkler equipment per codes and standards.
• Interact with customers professionally.
• Provide advanced technical assistance to team members and customers.
• Teach trade skills to apprentices/helpers.
• Complete detailed inspection reports with issues and results.
• Lead 2-3 person crews on customer sites when needed.
• Ensure safe operation of equipment and vehicles.
• Respond to emergency service calls.
