Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC is seeking a lead sprinkler service technician to manage operations from sale through installation and service. The role involves installing, testing, inspecting, and repairing commercial and residential sprinkler systems, with emphasis on safety, codes, and thorough reporting.

You will coordinate with engineers and site contacts, drive to jobs, and maintain equipment.

Qualifications

• Ability to act in a lead capacity and oversee field operations.
• NICET certification and knowledge of NFPA standards 70/72.
• Experience with commercial and residential sprinkler systems.
• Troubleshooting skills and teamwork ability.
• Clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Flexible with scheduling including evenings/weekends/out-of-town.
• Knowledge of codes, regulations, and reporting processes.
• Ability to operate and repair small/light equipment.

Responsibilities

• Support daily workflow of the sprinkler service department.
• Install or upgrade sprinkler systems in commercial and residential buildings.
• Test and repair sprinklers and perform inspections for code compliance.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and communicate results.
• Maintain equipment and truck, report unsafe conditions.
• Travel as needed and respond to emergency service calls.
