Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC in Texas is seeking a skilled Sprinkler Fitter to independently install fire sprinkler systems on commercial and industrial sites. This role may place you at Journeyman level and requires adherence to NFPA standards and local codes.

You will read blueprints, use hand tools, document installation reports, and travel to job sites as needed. A high school diploma and 2+ years of pipefitting experience are required, with NICET Level I preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in fire sprinkler fitting/pipefitting as an Apprentice or Technician.
• NICET Level I or above preferred.
• Must have a clean driving record and active driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform installation of fire sprinkler systems.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications for installation projects.
• Use hand tools and installation equipment to complete assigned tasks.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.
• Accurately and timely complete required documentation and installation reports.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal team members.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Travel to job sites as required.
