Qualifications

• Experience leading sprinkler installation projects.
• Ability to supervise and coordinate a crew of fitters and helpers.
• Familiarity with installing fire sprinkler systems in commercial and residential buildings.

Responsibilities

• Lead the installation of fire sprinkler systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
• Oversee installation, service and troubleshooting of automatic fire sprinkler systems and related equipment.
• Direct and delegate tasks to fitters and helpers to meet project deadlines and budgets.
• Coordinate trenching and repair of underground mains including backfilling and tamping.
• Ensure project results meet financial and productivity targets.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and timely.
• Ensure equipment and valves are installed per manufacturer requirements.
• Coordinate necessary testing of the systems.
• Instruct and train helpers and apprentices in installation procedures.
• Schedule and direct daily tasks and productivity of assigned employees.
• Maintain open communication with customers via email or phone.
