Job summary

The Hiller Companies, LLC has an immediate opening for a Fire Sprinkler Foreman. The role oversees all aspects from start to finish of installing fire sprinkler systems in commercial and residential buildings, ensuring safety and compliance with NFPA 13 rules.

Responsibilities include leading the installation teams, coordinating underground mains work, testing systems, and controlling project budgets while maintaining strong customer communication and documentation throughout the project

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Valid State Driver's License.
• 4+ years of fire sprinkler fitter experience, ideally with lead fitter experience.
• Ability to maintain professional relationships with upper management.
• Ability to prepare and maintain paperwork.
• Knowledge of NFPA 13 and applicable codes.
• Ability to interact professionally with other trades, customers, project managers, city officials, general contractors, etc.

Responsibilities

• Lead the installation of the fire sprinkler systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
• Oversee installation, service and troubleshooting of automatic fire sprinkler systems.
• Direct and delegate tasks to fitters and helpers to fulfill project deadlines.
• Coordinate trenching and repair of underground mains including backfilling and tamping.
• Ensure project results are achieved within budgets.
• Complete required paperwork in office systems.
• Ensure equipment and pumps meet manufacturer requirements.
• Coordinate testing of the systems.
• Instruct and train helpers and apprentices.
• Coordinate daily work schedules and productivity.
• Maintain open communication with the customer.
