Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering or closely related field.
7+ years of fire protection engineering experience in an MEP or building systems consulting environment.
PE license in Massachusetts or ability to obtain reciprocity.
Strong knowledge of fire suppression, alarm systems, and life safety analyses.
Experience with mission-critical, healthcare, and life sciences facilities.

Responsibilities

Lead fire protection design on mission critical, healthcare, and life sciences projects from concept to construction administration.
Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural teams to deliver integrated MEP solutions.
Review construction documents, specifications, and hydraulic calculations.
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers on standards and best practices.
Stay current with NFPA and local codes relevant to critical facilities and life sciences.
