Prelim is seeking its first dedicated DevOps/Platform engineer to own infrastructure end to end. You’ll build and improve CI/CD pipelines, enforce reproducible environments via code, and raise our reliability for a fintech-focused platform used by community banks.

This remote-friendly role targets the US market, with equity, a sponsored 401K, comprehensive health coverage, and generous PTO. Compensation ranges from $210k to $230k per year, aligned with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps/SRE/platform engineering roles.
• Fluent with AWS and infrastructure as code in production.
• Built CI/CD pipelines that engineers loved.
• Strong observability with defined SLOs and incident processes.
• Experience in regulated or compliance-heavy environments (SOC 2, ISO 27001).
• Automation and documentation mindset; avoid manual processes.
• Able to scale from 50 to 400+ people.

Responsabilités

• Own the build, test, and deploy pipeline with fast, safe shipping.
• Make infrastructure fully reproducible via code.
• Define uptime targets and build monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
• Partner with security on SOC 2 and bank due-diligence requirements.
• Own the cloud bill and optimize spend.
