**Responsibilities**

Ascension is seeking a Lead - Financial Integrity to join our accounting and reporting team, reporting to the Director - Financial Integrity. The responsibilities of this position are essential in helping to ensure the integrity of Ascension's consolidated financial statements, which are prepared and externally published on a quarterly basis, and subject to an annual external audit. Overarching responsibilities are as follows.

+ Support the financial integrity over financial reporting program, including risk assessments, quarterly attestations, and incident reporting.

+ Support documentation, maintenance, communication and training on internal controls

+ Provide internal audit assistance where needed.

+ Support the continuous monitoring analytics process, which includes journal entry compliance review and analytical review, in support of accounting best practices.

+ Internal audit experience in a large organization.

+ Strong understanding of accounting processes and internal controls.

+ Knowledge of the internal controls certification process under Sarbanes-Oxley Act is a plus.

+ Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP is a plus.

**Requirements**

Education:

+ High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. 2 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
