Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field plus four years of professional examination experience; or one year as a Financial Institutions Examiner IV in Nevada State service; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Review prior examinations and documents to develop an exam plan for each institution.
• Ensure compliance with licensing requirements for depository, trust, lending, collection, 1031 exchange and money transmission entities.
• Conduct entrance and exit meetings to discuss findings and verify facts with institution management.
• Evaluate internal and external audit procedures and financial condition to determine safety and soundness.
• Prepare reports detailing findings and recommendations and coordinate corrective actions as required.

Education

Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, economics, finance, or related discipline
