The Division of Insurance is seeking a Supervising Financial Examiner to lead a team of examiners in statutory financial reviews of insurers. You will plan examinations, ensure compliance with MGL and NAIC guidelines, and coordinate reporting of findings to management.

The role requires strong supervisory skills, deep knowledge of insurance financials, and the ability to manage complex audits across multiple lines of business. Hybrid work may be available depending on operations.

Qualifications

• Five years of financial examination experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Knowledge of MGL chapters 175 & 176 and NAIC guidelines.
• Certification as CFE or CPA or pursuing the designation.

Responsabilités

• Direct the team of examiners and supervise examinations from planning to completion.
• Prepare reports and communicate findings to management and insurers.
• Plan scope for each examination and coordinate with examination teams.
• Oversee preparation for NAIC reaccreditation and staff hiring.
