Job summary

GA Group is a premier advisory firm seeking a Senior Field Examiner to oversee collateral analysis for asset-based lending. The role supports banks, PE firms, hedge funds and factors, with a focus on Accounts Receivable and Inventory collateral and loan structuring.

Hybrid offices in Chicago, IL; Los Angeles, CA; NY, NY; and Needham, MA are available. The candidate will lead engagements, manage field teams, and provide senior-level insights on financial and operational risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or economics; CPA/CFA beneficial.
• Minimum 4 years’ field examiner experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of income statements, balance sheets and accounting concepts.
• Excellent English communication, detail-oriented with strong time management and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manages and directs a project team performing in-depth testing and analysis of collateral securing loans.
• Prepares field examination reports and supporting work papers with findings and recommendations.
• Leads management interviews to gain insight into financial, collateral and operational management.
• Sets priorities for the team and manages multiple deadlines with organization.
• Builds and maintains relationships with subject companies and clients throughout the exam process.
• Ensures internal communication and coordination within the exam team is effective.
