Job summary

Motion Recruitment seeks an experienced Lead Financial Analyst to steer budgeting, forecasting, and governance for large-scale technology transformation programs. You will oversee capitalization, vendor financials, and project accounting across multi-million-dollar initiatives, partnering with Procurement and Project Accounting.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in FP&A with strong SAP experience and a background in enterprise-scale programs, delivering actionable financial insights to leadership.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, project accounting, program financial management, or a related finance function.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP.
• Experience supporting large-scale technology, digital, ERP, CRM, or business transformation programs.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling, reporting, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and maintenance of program budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
• Manage monthly forecasting, actuals reporting, variance analysis, accruals, and financial reconciliations.
• Drive month-end, quarter-end, year-end, and annual financial planning activities.
• Review and validate vendor invoices against Statements of Work (SOWs), Purchase Orders (POs), and approved budgets.
• Prepare executive-level financial reports, funding updates, variance analyses, and governance presentations.
