Xsell Resources Inc. seeks a Lead Director – Finance Systems & Process Transformation to lead and deliver large-scale finance transformation programs for a Fortune 5 healthcare client.

The role requires strategic leadership with deep SAP transformation expertise and executive presence to drive change across global operations. The ideal candidate will have FPSL experience, strong knowledge of finance reporting and month-end processes, and a track record of delivering cross-functional programs

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Finance, Finance Transformation, or large-scale business transformation initiatives.
• 5–7 years in a leadership role, managing senior teams and complex programs.
• Experience with at least 3+ ERP-enabled finance transformations (e.g., SAP S/4HANA or comparable platforms), with hands‑on SAP finance depth (FI/CO, General Ledger, Group Reporting/consolidation).
• Deep experience in one or more business processes such as Record to Report, Procure to Pay, Order to Cash.
• Strong knowledge of finance processes, controls, and performance management, including how financial results are produced, reconciled, and reported.
• Demonstrated understanding of Finance reporting needs (month-end close, management reporting, external and regulatory reporting) and the ability to translate them into system and data requirements.
• Proven experience leading enterprise‑wide transformation programs with cross‑functional impact.
• 10–25% travel expected based on project needs.

Job description

For immediate hire, seeking a highly experienced Lead Director – Finance Systems & Process Transformation to lead and deliver large-scale finance transformation programs for our Fortune 5 healthcare client. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with deep finance and SAP transformation expertise, strong executive presence, and experience driving change across global enterprises.

Experience with SAP Financial Products Subledger (FPSL) and the reporting needs of an insurance-driven finance organization is required. Experience supporting M&A-driven finance transformations is a strong plus.

This position is open only to Green Card and USC and will convert to full time after 3 months.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience with SAP Financial Products Subledger (FPSL), ideally in an insurance, health plan, or other financial services environment (design, implementation, or program leadership).
• Working knowledge of insurance and healthcare accounting and reporting (e.g., U.S. GAAP/LDTI, statutory reporting) and the interplay between subledger, general ledger, and consolidation.
• Experience with SAP Group Reporting, SAP Analytics Cloud, or comparable reporting and planning platforms.
• Prior experience in Big 4 consulting, advisory, or professional services environments.
• M&A integration or carve‑out experience supporting finance organizations.
• Familiarity with advanced finance technologies, data analytics, automation tools, and AI/ML capabilities.
• Proficiency in cloud architecture and solution design is highly preferred.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• MBA or relevant professional certification (CPA, CMA, PMP) preferred.
