Lead Financial Analyst – Finance Business Partner

Job Purpose

The Finance Business Partner role involves empowering strategic decision-making through tools, forecasting models, and reports that simplify FP&A analysis, serving as a trusted strategic advisor to leaders.

Responsibilities
  • Develop FP&A acumen with leaders through hands-on decision support, coaching, and storytelling.
  • Assess and anticipate decision makers’ needs, building close partnerships with executives and stakeholders.
  • Provide in-depth support to executive decision makers, including risk mitigation and performance monitoring.
  • Support budgeting, business case development, and performance course correction.
  • Equip leaders with tooling, reports, and dashboards for evidence-based decisions.
  • Drive adoption of decision support tools through tailored functionality and stakeholder engagement.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of corporate FP&A experience, with a background in accounting and progression into FP&A.
  • Expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and understanding of P&L, KPIs, and reporting methodologies.
  • Strategic thinking, business acumen, and strong communication skills.
  • Proficiency with digital tools: Excel (PowerQuery, PowerPivot, DAX), PowerBI or similar.
  • Experience in coaching, problem-solving, and building stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to work on a team using agile principles.
Education

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.

Additional Details

Full-time, remote role with a salary range of $102,000-$112,000, plus benefits. A cover letter and resume are required. Background checks will be conducted. Great Minds is an equal opportunity employer.
