Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Analytics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, strategy, analytics, or related field.
• Strong experience with financial modeling, forecasting, and business performance analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to build and maintain complex financial models.
• Working knowledge of SQL and ability to analyze data from large datasets.
• Experience with Tableau or similar BI tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Strong project management and organizational skills across multiple initiatives.

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Lead Financial Analyst in Englewood, CO. Summary: We are seeking a Lead Financial Analyst to support strategic financial analysis, business performance, forecasting, and decision-making across a dynamic customer-focused organization. This role will leverage financial modeling, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to evaluate business performance, identify opportunities, and support initiatives designed to improve profitability and customer retention. The ideal candidate is a data-driven problem solver with strong financial and business acumen who can analyze complex information, develop actionable recommendations, and effectively communicate findings to both business partners and senior leadership.

• Analyze financial and business data to evaluate trends, identify opportunities, and support strategic decision-making
• Build and maintain financial models to project and evaluate business and project performance, inform strategic decisions, and maximize profitability
• Develop forecasts, reporting, and financial analyses in partnership with Finance and other business teams
• Support initiatives designed to improve customer loyalty, reduce churn, and increase customer lifetime value
• Lead key business initiatives from concept through execution, ensuring cross-functional alignment and measurable results
• Support the development and implementation of AI/ML-driven initiatives focused on identifying business opportunities, optimizing spend, and improving operational performance
• Serve as a financial and analytical resource to the business, translating complex data into actionable recommendations
• Develop and deliver presentations and insights to senior leadership, including VP and SVP-level stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Analytics, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, strategy, analytics, or a related field
• Strong experience with financial modeling, forecasting, and business performance analysis
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to build and maintain complex financial models
• Working knowledge of SQL and the ability to analyze data and extract insights from large datasets
• Experience with Tableau or similar data visualization and business intelligence tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex information into actionable recommendations
• Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple high-impact initiatives simultaneously
• Ability to collaborate effectively across Finance and other cross-functional business teams

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
