Job summary

Rocky Vista University seeks an Associate Director of Financial Aid – Advisement to lead and advance student financial aid counseling, loan processing, and debt management. Reporting to the Executive Director, you will ensure compliance with Title IV and institutional policies while fostering cross-department collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive financial aid experience, including leadership.
• Experience with federal loan programs and debt management counseling.
• Familiarity with Title IV regulations, COD, NSLDS, and reporting systems.
• Proven ability to engage students with financial aid presentations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise counseling staff to provide student-centered advisement.
• Advise students on aid eligibility, awards, loans, and debt management.
• Represent Financial Aid at student events and deliver loan option presentations.
• Oversee loan processing, including Direct Loans and counseling.
• Collaborate with Admissions, Registrar, Bursar, and Operations for integration.
